Abraham Kudzai Maguchu
Abraham has been in practice for 15 years and is a Partner based in the Employment and Litigation Unit. He co-chairs the litigation unit with founder and fellow partner Selby Hwacha. Abraham’s practice outside of general labour practice and litigation focuses on drafting of codes of conduct, company constitutions, review and drafting of employment contracts, advising on restructuring and reconstruction for employers in diverse sectors of the economy including; manufacturing, hotel and tourism, banking and finance, energy, and aviation.
Abraham is an ingenious and tactful litigator. He has vast experience litigating and/or representing employers in internal company hearings; conciliations with Labour Officers; arbitration, and is a force to be reckoned with in successfully defending complex class actions and collective bargaining negotiations in the High and Supreme Court of Zimbabwe. His success in landmark cases have seen the law as it relates to employment relationships being redefined in our jurisdiction. Abraham relishes complex and challenging cases, and enjoys being a change agent in the employment landscape.

Abraham is a pioneer lecturer in labour law at the Midlands State University where he lectured for three years.
